Takeda UK Ltd

Takeda UK is the wholly owned UK subsidiary of Japan's largest pharmaceutical company.

Since it was founded more than two centuries ago in Osaka, the Takeda Pharmaceutical Company has grown into a research-based global enterprise employing more than 15,700 people worldwide, with successful affiliates in more than 90 countries throughout Europe, Asia and North America.

Takeda UK was established in 1997 in High Wycombe to spearhead Takeda's expansion into Europe with the launch of Amias®, which has become the most widely prescribed angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) in the UK.

In 2009 Takeda UK extended its marketing and sales operations with the addition of a dedicated team to cover Southern Ireland.
