CSARN / Safer Business Travel

Some ten million overseas business trips emanate each year from the UK. And pressure on the British Government to support our business communities in exporting UK plc towards a position of accelerated growth has never been keener. As UK business executives face uncertain and growing risks from major hazards overseas, what lessons can we learn from past tragedies? Moreover, what technologies, support systems, and practical counter-measures can the UK Government and business community deliver in order to improve safety and reassurance for our frontline staff, executives and clients?

Aims

  • To promote business resilience planning among high-level corporate and public sector planners charged with business travel safety
  • To develop, enhance and expand security and personnel resilience networks among key government, public and third sector strategists and managers
  • To profile the hitherto good work of UK government departments including the FCO and Home Office (NaCTSO) to trusted, relevant business audiences
  • To showcase relevant and accessible UK technologies and solutions
  • To focus case studies and support information around major UK existing and emerging markets specifically including India, PRC, USA and the Middle East
