The global threat of the potential for pandemics is an ever-present serious threat. In February this year, Tedros Adhanom, Director General of the World Health Organisation stated that the world continues to remain vulnerable.  He said, “We do not know where and when the next global pandemic will occur, but we know it will take a terrible toll both on human life and on the economy.”  A dire prediction, but we all clearly understand the need to prepare to protect our  people through education, prevention measures and recovery plans.  While diseases such as Zika and Ebola are deadly and a serious threat to the public, they are not as problematic as pathogens which spread through the air we breathe which pose a global catastrophic biological threat.

With our people having to travel far and wide to conduct business, this threat becomes an international reality.  So, reflecting that critical need, this CSARN briefing will assemble speakers with the most up to date briefings on how to protect your most valuable asset.

Areas to be covered are:

  • The current global threat and what it means for the UK
  • Best practice to protect your people
  • How do we recover from a pandemic?
  • How can corporates play their part?
  • How can we plan and prevent in advance?
