The World is an increasing complex place to be. The challenges of diverse geopolitics, uncertain domestic pressures and the rise in the extreme right wing, religious differences and single issue activists are nothing new, but the wider context is. Even with all the technological knowhow that enables us to communicate our views across the globe at any time, individuals still feel moved to personally attack innocent bystanders with extreme violence. The social consequences are felt deeply as demonstrated more recently by the attacks on the bridges on the River Thames , but businesses suffer too. This briefing highlights the risks to businesses when these events occur, but focuses on the preparations we have to make in order to mitigate possible injury to our staff and our clients and our reputations. Our speakers will deliver the most up to date methodology to achieve this and makes this briefing a must attend event.

    Areas that will be covered:

    • The current risks to the business and government sectors
    • The impact on our people in the workplace
    • How to prevent, prepare for and mitigate the effect of lone attackers
    • The law enforcement response and how you can help
    • Identifying the signs and responding quickly
