The United Kingdom is about to start the process of exiting from the European Union in front of a backdrop of controversy of the past, hope for the future and debates about what it all means for our well-being. One of the main areas of concern for most of us is how all the changes activated by Article 50 will impact on our ability to protect ourselves from disaster.
No matter what positive aspects of this decision exist, plans will need to take account of the movement of the UK’s workforce, the sharing of intelligence with international partners, security screening of visitors and international employees, the identification of suspects, the resilience of our cyber platforms and our reliance on our overseas partners to assist in any recovery. What are the logical next steps? What does the business sector need to think about and prioritise to stay in sync with national decision making? How do we prepare our workforce for the changes ahead?
These are important national issues and CSARN is delighted to host this discussion. As one of the biggest changes that we as a nation have had to manage in many years, this CSARN briefing is timely and we encourage you and your teams to attend.
